After submitting the BIG adoption application we got some information that has made us change the country we are adopting from. We originally applied for Ethiopia and had been accepted but, the agency has advised that the wait time would be 3.5 - 4 years if everything went right! We were not comfortable with that time frame. We prayed about it and God has opened the doors for us to adopt from Haiti! We are so excited, we don't care where he is from, we just want him. We feel that God has a 3 - 6 year old boy waiting for us.
We now need $2500 for the 1st Haiti installment fee. The adoption jar currently has $930 in it. We are taking this adoption one fee at a time. Looking at the BIG dollar amount is overwhelming and intimidating. I have been reminding myself frequently that my God owns the cattle on a thousand hills and He will provide. It may not be as quickly as I would prefer but I know He has it all under control. Once we make it past the first Haiti installment fee our adoption agency will help set us up with an account that people can donate to and 100% of the donations will go to our account!

$1570 to meet the first installment fee.
Contract work for Clayton on the side. He has some exciting leads but has some big details to figure out.
